CEMDATIC's research activities focus on the preparation and characterization of Advanced Functional Materials and the design and manufacturing of devices for ICT applications based on them.


With our exercise we aim to address several of the main challenges facing society, and we focus on present and future problems of health, information, security, and environmental care. In this sense, the research activity of our multidisciplinary groups, and the infrastructures of the center are aligned to boost research and achieve fruitful results regarding four strategic and innovation areas: Sensing, Information & Communication Technologies (ITCs), Aerospace and Materials for Sustainability.

Students are welcome to develop their Bachelor/Master thesis. If you are a science passionate, you can start your science career at CEMDATIC becoming a PhD student.

In our cleanrooms and state-of-the-art labs, we're taking nano - and digital technology to the next level.

The  work of our team, focused on the use of unconventional materials and procedures, helps the center to offer original and effective solutions to the industry.
