Researchers from CEMDATIC took part in Science and Innovation Week 2025, an initiative by the Comunidad de Madrid aimed at bringing cutting-edge research closer to the general public.

Through our activity, “Más allá de lo visible: la fotónica en el día a día,” high-school students explored a series of interactive experiments designed to introduce key concepts in photonics. They learned how light underpins modern technologies—from data transmission through optical fibers to the displays in mobile devices—highlighting the essential role science plays in everyday life.
