In mid-October 2022, the second edition of the cycle of seminars "YSOM: Young Scientists Open Meetings" will begin. This is an activity addressed to PhD students and young researchers. The main objective of this activity is the dissemination of results obtained during the realization of the doctoral thesis/research by doctoral students/researchers. In each session, a PhD student or researcher will present his/her results (approximate duration of 15-20 minutes), followed by a discussion with the rest of the attendees. As a result of these sessions, results and lines of research will be shared, and researchers will be able to expand their networks within the scientific community.
These seminars are organized by PhD students from ISOM (Instituto de Sistemas Optoelectrónicos y Microtecnología) in collaboration with CEMDATIC (Centro de Materiales y Dispositivos Avanzados para las TIC), all of them research centers of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). Participation is open to any doctoral student/researcher from any University.
The information of each session will be announced in the Weekly Agenda of E.T.S.I. Telecomunicación UPM. In addition, there is a mailing list where information related to this activity will also be shared. To participate, please send an email to the contact address below.
