CEMDATIC at the Employability Fair of the VI National Congress of Physics Students

On February 28th, three brave members of our team embarked on a very special mission: to represent our research center at the Employability Fair of the VI National Congress of Physics Students (https://nusgrem.es/conef2025/). The event, organized by the National Association of University Students of Physics (NUSGREM), took place at the University of Alcalá de Henares, Madrid.

Our dream team, consisting of Pablo López Querol, Javier Pereiro García, and Ricardo Hervás García, arrived at the congress eager to share our passion for science and showcase the work we do at our center. And we certainly made an impact. Throughout the day, we talked with physics students from all over Spain, answered questions about the world of research, and, why not, spread some of our enthusiasm for science.

In addition to discussing our lines of research, we also engaged with attendees about career opportunities in physics, ranging from the academic path to various industries. It was great to see students' interest in learning firsthand what day-to-day life is like in a research center and how they can shape their professional future.

The congress was not only a space for exchanging knowledge, but also an opportunity to network and establish contacts with other researchers, companies, and entities from the sector. We met other professionals passionate about physics, shared experiences, and even exchanged a few scientific anecdotes that brought more than one smile to our faces.

It was an incredible day where we not only talked about our work but also learned from the concerns and expectations of future physicists. Without a doubt, events like this are a fantastic opportunity to connect with the next generation of researchers and continue advancing science in our country.
